Why is it so difficult to do what you want?

Why is it so difficult to be what you want to be, and do what you want to do?

Why does it feel so hard to break out, break free, and be all you are being called to be?

The answer is simple… Because, YOU are the only person in the whole entire world that genuinely wants you to do your thing and be yourself.

Every other person, even those that love you, and that you love… every other human being wants (at some level) for you to do what everyone else is doing.

Everyone else, really, secretly, in their own reality, wants you to shush now, be quiet, and be like them, to fit into the mould; because you staying safe in the mould, means they are given permission to stay there too. Gently you are encouraged to toe the line, as others reinforce what you should be doing, and show you constantly the way things have always been done.

Even if outwardly you are encouraged, very few people truly have the capacity to support you, or believe in your possibilities, dreams and desires. Very few are capable of genuinely, in every ounce of their being, putting themselves in total alignment with your full potential, possibilities and soul’s purpose.

It literally is you against the world.

But knowing this – really understanding that fact – suddenly makes it super easy to step up and allow yourself to be different, to do what you want to do. And in that fact you find your freedom.

It’s when we choose to ignore the fact that the whole world pushes one way when we want to shimmy the other that we get into the state of ‘impossible’, because energetically we decided at some point that the world needed to turn – THE WHOLE WORLD NEEDED TO TURN – for it to be Ok to do the thing we want to do, and be who we want to be.

No wonder we’re soooooo exhausted, as no amount of pushing or shoving or cajoling from you is ever going to turn the entire world on its axis into alignment with you following your purpose.

You alone cannot change the world from its status quo.

So knowing that what do we do?

We simply decide that it’s the easiest thing in the world to leave the world alone, and turn ourselves.

To let go of trying to drag the world with you, and just move your feet – turn on the spot – dance around and know that YOU are free to be whatever the heck you want to be and do whatever you want to do.

You are one person – choose – decide – just turn yourself. Let go of the world, you’ll never shift it to your approval. Let it go. All that pushing the world is impossible and exhausting.

Just turn yourself, that’s all you need to do.
